Core Programmes Southside Travellers operates a series of integrated programmes which aim to meet the real and identified needs of Travellers in Dun Laoghaire / Rathdown from our Resource Centre in Sandyford. Each of our Programmes has a dedicated team overseen by a Programme Manager who participates in our Programme Management Team to ensure co-ordination and effective and real programme integration. A Life Cycle Approach Our work is focused on the Dun Laoghaire / Rathdown area which is home to over 140 Traveller families living in both Traveller Specific and Settled accomodation and takes a specific "life cycle" approach. In many cases, we are the first point of contact for Travellers living in the Dun Laoghaire / Rathdown area who would have learned of the work of the organisation and the supports available through our Resource Centre by word of mouth. Since the development of our soon to be launched strategic plan "Building for the Future" our structures and processes have changed significantly whilst remaining fully committed to community development principles and practices and our core values of Traveller Leadership, Equality and Access.
